<p>The most prominent part of the Jenny Craig plan is the ability to eat meals that have been prepared to meet the diets requirements, taking a lot of pressure off of the member. Instead of having to remember a list of approved foods and measuring out the appropriate amount of calories, you can just eat what they give you. Meals can be purchased in many stores, or be delivered to your home weekly. Doesn&#8217;t get much simpler than that. <p>The downside to buying these meals? There are a few. First off, they are very expensive. A week of meals for one person will cost you between $100-$125. <p>The plan itself is simple. For two meals a day, eat a 1 cup serving of the cereal with fruit. You can eat any of the cereals within the Special K line from Kellogg&#8217;s: Special K, Special K Fruit &#038; Yogurt, Special K Low Carb Lifestyle, Special K Red Berries, and Special K Vanilla Almond. You can also have snacks of fruits and vegetables, any beverages, and a normal third meal. <span id="more-286"></span></p>
<p>Assuming you follow the diet, you can certainly lose weight in two weeks. Reducing 2/3 of your meals to low calorie cereal and fat free milk will almost certainly cut down your calorie intake enough to make you lose weight. Of course, this will only happen if your snacks and third meal are healthy enough and small enough to keep the calories down. But no one we know could stand to do this diet for more than three days, let alone two weeks to see if you can losr 6 pounds. A bowl of cereal twice a day is just not interesting. Testers following the Special K diet plan said they were ravenous, not from real hunger, but a need for variety of flavor and texture from food. </p>
<p>If you&#8217;re struggling with your weight, and need to find some way to reduce the number of calories you eat, here&#8217;s a tip. Let&#8217;s say you tend to eat a big, high fat lunch at the office because it&#8217;s easy. Use the idea of the Special K diet plan to help yourself out. Replace that lunch with a bowl of the cereal and milk. Add a filling piece of fruit like an apple or banana. Try it for a few days, or twice a week for a month. Anything more often is going to make you crazy and more likely to overeat bad foods when you&#8217;re not eating cereal.</p>

If you are looking to get soem quick weight loss, and think you can handle a very low calorie diet, the cookie diet is probably worth trying. <p>The basics are simple. You eat as much cabbage soup as you want for 7 days, and lose weight. Dieters have reported losing up to 10 pounds in a week, though such a result is likely mostly water weight. But, like all low calorie diets, this will work if you follow it strictly. And, you don&#8217;t have to spend hundreds of dollars for pre-made meals. You make the soup yourself. Recipes vary, but usually include cabbage (of course), as well as other low calorie but flavorful vegetables like carrots, tomatoes, bell peppers and onions. Most also add boullion and tomato jusice for additional flavor. <span id="more-276"></span></p>
<p>But wait, you&#8217;re not just going to eat soup for 7 days, right? Right. Even though this is the cabbage soup diet, there are other foods added on each of the 7 days.</p>
